SILENT invites personalities to sit in front of the camera in silence.
SILENT is a project to make fixed-shot, film recordings of meaningful and relevant people from arts, science, academy, etc. that have been important in different fields by their ideas and proposals that they have expressed throughout his life and his work.
The subjects will be filmed remain silent for the amount of time they consider appropriate or necessary, with no limit on sequence time and no cuts or edits in the validated sequence.
A sound recording will also be made during the visual takes.
Victoria Combalía Dexeus (Barcelona, 1952) Art Historian and Art Crític. Dora Maar’s Biographer. Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB) from 1974 to 2013, currently retired. She has curated more than 70 exhibitions in Spain and abroad. Author of The Poetics of the Neutral (1975), Studies on Picasso (1981), Antoni Tàpies (1984), Miró and His Critics (1990), Amazons with a Brush (2006), Dora Maar (2013), Seeing to Live (2024), among others. Director of the Tecla Sala Cultural Centre from 1996 to 2002. Visual Arts Advisor to the Community of Madrid between 2004 and 2007.


Jordi Pericot i Canaleta (El Masnou, 1931) is a visual artist, theorist, semiologist and design & communication pedagogue. He was one of the main precursors of the kinetic art at Spain. In 1972 represents Spain at the XXXVI Venice Biennale.
It has been director of the school of design Elisava (1967-80), one of the creators of the new UB Faculty of Fine Arts, and one of the founders of the Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication at University Pompeu Fabra.
