Interferències, Terrassa / Spotify
In one of the jazz groups formed by my father, the repertory of was transcribed by listening to jazz recordings over and over until the scores were written down. That left the records uniformly scratched all over.
Years later, listening to ALL BLUES on one of those vinyl records, it occurred to me to magnify the interferences achieved by the obsessive use of that record, so as to build up a mix of several fragments, to which original interferences could be added in order to achieve a new, free version of ALL BLUES. It doesn’t belong to one or to the other, neither Miles nor Vacca.
