Iklectik Art Lab (London)

This previously unpublished work, constructed for the exhibition VICENS VACCA. JUST, DIG and LOVE & PSYCHE at Iklectik Art Lab (London), is an acoustic assemblage that emits a series of phrases, in the form of continuous utterances in which it is stated whether whites and blacks do or do not like blacks or whites, in every possible order of combination.
One of the meanings of DIG is to like, to want. After listening to it for a while it becomes unclear who digs who, leading to a disconcerting ambivalence.
Whites and blacks could be two groups of people, countries, ideas, etc., though there is an obvious connection to the present of Black Lives Matter.
